Hi, I'm Dawn!
I am a qualified Personal Trainer who values strength as one of the most powerful gifts you can give yourself.
Whether you have exercised for years and are looking for new challenges, or are a complete beginner, I can help you with an enjoyable, personal training programme that is tailored specifically to your needs and goals.
If you would like to know more or want to book a taster session, please get in touch.

Energy, not Exhaustion

My goal is for you to leave my sessions feeling energised, not broken down.
Training should build you up, not drain you.
I focus on intelligent programming that supports your nervous system, recovery, and overall wellbeing — so exercise enhances your life rather than competing with it.
This approach is ideal for women who want to:
Feel strong and capable
Move with confidence
Improve balance and stability
Build energy for daily life
Train without pressure or intimidation
Strong doesn’t have to mean exhausted.
It means feeling confident in your body, capable in your daily life, and supported every step of the way.
I work with clients to help them feel stronger, more confident and more capable in everyday life – without the pressure or unrealistic expectations.
My support is simple, supportive and functional. I focus on training that improves how your body moves, feels and performs in real life, building strength, balance stability and energy that make sense for your body.
I know starting (or restarting) fitness can feel daunting and overwhelming.
I can create programmes that are manageable, adaptable and sustainable – so you feel your best!
Whether your goal is to move better, feel stronger, have more energy or simply feel confident in your body again, I am here to support you every step of the way.
I became a PT because I realised how many people felt intimidated by gyms, confused by fitness advice, and unsure where to start.
Like many, I experienced how powerful it felt to become strong, more capable and more confident through movement, not just physically, but mentally and emotionally too.
Fitness is not about looking a certain way. It is about feeling supported by your body and having energy.
My passion for physical activity and fitness began at the age of twenty-five, when I trained in exercise to music and started teaching body conditioning and aerobics in a variety of venues. From the beginning, I felt drawn to helping people feel stronger, more confident, and more energised through exercise.
Alongside this, I trained in sports massage, which deepened my understanding of the body – not just how it moves, but how it recovers, adapts and needs to be cared for.
Life then took me into motherhood and while my focus shifted as I raised my children, my passion for exercise never left. I trained in circuit training and abdominals, and I continued to go to yoga and Pilates-inspired classes.
I re-trained through FutureFit to become a Personal Trainer, bringing with me life experience and deeper appreciation for how womens' bodies change through different stages of life.
I have also studied Nutrition, allowing me to support clients in a more complete and balanced way.
Today, I combine strength, functional movement and nutritional guidance to help you feel strong, capable and confident – not just in the gym but in everyday life.
Fitness has always been part of my story. Now it is my goal to help it become part of yours too!

Where I Work

I am mostly based at my home studio/gym.
I can also come to you, although this does involve an additional charge to cover my travel costs and the extra time involved.
